Warwick is rich in cultural, educational and historical heritage. With a host of annual events, from folk to classical music and spoken word festivals there is always plenty to see and do in Warwickshire’s county town. Located on the banks of the River Avon, Warwick is also famous for its picturesque castle. A grade-I listed building, its boundaries also house stables, a mill and a lodge. The castle is one of Warwick’s most popular tourist attractions, but the town also has a large student population from the local University. Established in 1965, the University of Warwick is one of the leading educational institutes in the country.
