Richmond is located in the London borough of Richmond-upon-Thames on the south side of the Thames and north east of Richmond Bridge. A thriving and gentile place to live, in the sixties there was a pub here called the Station Hotel, which had a popular hall in the back and attracted some big names. The Rolling Stones played here on numerous occasions one of which was tape recorded; the recording was recently sold at Christies for hundreds pounds.
