The Eden Project near St Austell is one of the South West’s most famous attractions. Built over two and a half years it opened to the public in 2001. Comprising two domes that house diverse plant life in Tropical and Mediterranean climates, the Project emphasises the relationship between humans and plants. It’s most recent addition is The Core, a fully equipped facility, including classrooms and exhibition spaces to help promote the Eden Project’s central message: the relationship between people and plants.
